Full 13 years in Superligan with at least 30 points each season. The top in 2010, when he won the overall scoring list with a total of 69 points. The same year, he was awarded the best player of the year in SSL. By that tine, he was playing for Caperiotäby and that was where he grew into one of the biggest floorball profiles. After that, he had continued his career first in Storvreta and then in AIK.
His assist to Tero Tiitus golden goal in the WFC final 2008 in Prague will be unforgotten. Hyvärinens break on the right wing, the pass to Tiitu - and Finnlands first WFC gold medal was done.

Others should take over
Already before the previous season Hyvärinen was not sure if he still wanted to play, but then he did and with his 30 points he was the fourth best of his team. After AIK missed the playoffs of the 15/16 season, he said that it was probably time to give up. "It is likely that I am going to quit. But I shall and will discuss with the club what to do next before I give an official statement."
After a summer with no floorball at all, Hyvärinen finally decided to stop for good. "It is about time to end my career and let others take over", says the 35 year old with two World Champion titles under his belt.
